Someone entered a vehicle on Short Street between 10:15 p.m. July 30 and 9 a.m. July 31. A GPS unit was taken.

Digirad Imaging Solutions at 410 Brierridge Drive was entered between 7:30 p.m. July 30 and 6:10 a.m. Aug. 2. Eight vehicle keys were taken.

A resident of Creek Glen Way reported being the victim of financial transaction card fraud between 12 p.m. Aug. 1 and 4 p.m. Aug. 3. A $500 charge was made using the victim's debit card.

Apex police recently charged the following person with driving while impaired: Keith Adam Fine, 37, of 10304 Creek Glen Way, charged about 2:15 a.m. Aug. 1 at Olive Chapel Road and Kelly Road.

A home was entered on Valley Rush Drive between 10 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Aug. 6. Two lawn chairs and $150 cash were taken.

Someone entered a vehicle on First Street between 8 p.m. Aug. 6 and 3 a.m. Aug. 7. A wallet, cell phone with a cracked screen and $50 cash were taken.

A vehicle was entered on Celadine Drive between 4:05 p.m. and 4:15 p.m. June 11.

Twenty dollars in cash was taken from a wallet.

Someone entered a vehicle on W. Chatham Street between 5 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Aug. 11.

A telephone book, hospital card, two credit cards, three gold Susan B. Anthony coins, $5 cash, a video camera, wallet and pocket book were taken.

Someone entered a vehicle on East Chatham Street between 9 p.m. Aug. 12 and 9:15 a.m. Aug. 13. A GPS unit and $40 cash were taken.

Two vehicles were entered at a business at 837 Perry Road between 2:40 a.m. and 3:30 a.m. Aug. 18.

Four extension cords and ten rolls of copper wire were taken.

A resident of Haywards Heath Lane reporting being the victim of financial transaction card theft and fraud between Aug. 13 and Aug. 14.

A debit card was taken and fraudulently used.

Holly Springs

Police responded to a report of a domestic violence protective order violation on Cottonwood Lane between 4:30 p.m. and 4:45 p.m. July 28.

The suspect spotted police and attempted to flee the scene in his vehicle. A short chase ensued before the suspect was apprehended.

A Fuquay-Varina resident reported a stolen credit card that was used to make small purchases in Holly Springs between 1:59 p.m. and 3 p.m. Aug. 2.

Holly Springs police recently charged the following person with driving while impaired: Latisha Antoinette Green, 24, of 608 Silk Hope Gum Springs Road, Pittsboro, charged about 11:40 p.m. July 17 on G.B. Alford Highway.

Police charged Chanta Renee Hinton, 34, of 8531 S. Creek Drive, Willow Springs, with possession of cocaine at about 11:45 a.m. Aug. 5 at Sunset Lake Road and Black Forest Drive.

The drugs were discovered after the suspect's vehicle was stop for an inspection violation.

An incident of indecent liberties with children was reported on Weathervane Way at about 3:30 p.m. Aug. 4.

The offense is reported to have begun on Aug. 1, 2009.

Someone reported an incident of a first degree sexual offense with a child on Trayesan Drive at about 2 p.m. July 26.

The offense is reported to have begun in 2005.

Police charged Wendy Michelle Johnson, 51, of 101 Fair Haven St., with possession with the intent to manufacture, sell, and/or deliver Xanax, trafficking opium, trafficking cocaine and conspiracy trafficking heroin at about 11:16 a.m. Aug. 7 at Sunset Lake Road and Holly Springs Road.

The drugs were discovered during a traffic stop for equipment and seatbelt violations.

A resident of Palmdale Court reported unauthorized charges were made using their credit card between 12 p.m. Aug. 2 and 11 a.m. Aug. 7.

Fuquay-Varina

An unsecured vehicle was entered on Quail Hill Street between 8:45 a.m. and 11 a.m. July 14.

A Ruger semi-automatic pistol was taken.

Someone entered an unsecured vehicle on Oldwyck Drive between 8 p.m. July 15 and 8 a.m. July 16. A GPS unit, $20 cash and 12 CDs were taken.

A vehicle was entered at Wake Med at 400 W. Ransom St. by breaking a window between 3 p.m. and 11:37 p.m. July 16. A purse, wallet and five credit cards were taken.

Someone entered a vehicle at Fuquay-Varina United Methodist Church at 1100 S. Judd Parkway by breaking a window between 10:50 a.m. and 11:58 a.m. July 18. Five credit cards were taken.

A home was entered on Lake James Drive between 4 p.m. July 19 and 11:30 a.m. July 20. A microwave, electric range and refrigerator were taken.

Someone entered an unsecured vehicle on Whitetail Creek Way between 6:30 p.m. July 19 and 8 a.m. July 20. A GPS unit was taken.

Fraudulent checks were presented for cash at Food Lion locations at 1508 Broad St. and 1338 N. Main St. between 6:44 p.m. and 7:20 p.m. July 20.

Police charged Justin Maurice Nettles, 20, of 88 Hemlock Ave., Angier, with burglary with forcible entry at about 2:18 a.m. July 22 at Ruby Tuesday at 1260 N. Main St. He is suspected of breaking a window to gain entry to business to steal items.

A secured, silver 2005 Honda Accord was taken from a home on Whitetail Creek Way at about 6:21 a.m. July 22.

Two counterfeit $20 bills were used to purchase items at the Sheetz at 1655 N. Main St. between 12:01 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. July 22.

A counterfeit $10 bill used at Cost Cutters at 1356 N. Main St. at about 9 a.m. July 24.
