Cary
A Cary man is facing charges of forgery and fraud for crimes committed in Wake and Johnston counties.
Police in Cary arrested Roderick Fenton Hill, 34, of 118 S. Atley Lane, on Aug. 14 at Motel 6 on Buck Jones Road. Officers served Hill with outstanding warrants from Smithfield police for uttering a forged instrument, obtaining property by false pretenses and failure to appear in court on an earlier charge of driving while his license was revoked.
Cary police also served Hill with outstanding warrants from Raleigh for possession of a counterfeit instrument and for fraud by worthless check from an undisclosed agency, according to police reports.

Someone entered a vehicle at 1040 Vision Drive between 6:10 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. Aug. 19. A wallet, cell phone, passport and computer bag were taken.
Four suspects are accused of stealing more than $4,000 worth of goods from Home Depot at 1000 Vision Drive between 7:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. Aug. 18. The suspects are William Scott Mullis, 39, of 2298 Zion Road, Lancaster, S.C.; Nena Nichole Cureton, 29, of 2907 Starnes Drive, Rock Hill, S.C.; Jimmy Dean Hunter, 37, of 3504 Bowling Lane, Lancaster, S.C.; and Teresa Hunter, 34, of 3540 Bowling Lane, Lancaster, S.C. They were arrested and detained in Locust, N.C.
Fourteen vehicles were entered on Knightsborough Way, Brittley Way and Tribayne Court between 10:30 p.m. Aug. 20 and 8 a.m. Aug. 23. Four GPS units, $5 cash, a purse, wallet and phone charger were taken. A Ford F-150XLT was also taken from a home on Brittley Way.

Two unsecured vehicles were entered on Corwood Drive and Senterwood Court between 7:15 p.m. July 23 and 8:25 a.m. July 24. Two GPS units and an employment identification badge were taken.
Someone used a credit card belonging to a resident of Cahlfield Court to make international purchases prior to July 26.
A vehicle was entered a Peak Fitness at 1310 E. Broad St. by breaking a window between 7:43 p.m. and 8:45 p.m. July 26. A purse and five credit cards were taken.
Someone entered a home on N. Woodrow Street via an unsecured door between 4:15 p.m. July 20 and 9 p.m. July 26. Two Xbox 360 video game systems, groceries, a computer with the monitor and keyboard and 12 DVDs were taken.
A stolen credit card was used at Walmart at 1051 E. Broad St. at about 9:42 p.m. July 26.
Jewelry valued at $1,400 was taken from a home on Creek Oak Circle between 9 a.m. and 8:20 p.m. July 27.
Someone used a forged check using the account number of a Carrboro resident at Walmart at 1051 E. Broad St. at about 2 p.m. July 22.
An unsecured vehicle was entered in an unsecured garage on McLaurin Lane between 12:30 a.m. and 8 a.m. July 28. A miter saw, circular saw, GPS unit and radar detector were taken.
Someone took an air conditioning unit from a home on Barlang Circle between 4 p.m. July 27 and 1:30 p.m. July 28 by cutting the connecting wires.
A vehicle was entered by breaking a window in the parking lot of Walgreens at 1401 N. Main St. between 1:40 a.m. and 1:57 a.m. July 30.
Two purses, a cell phone and driver's license were taken.
Holly Springs
Police charged Donald Wayne Price, 40, of 3831 Princeton Kenly Road, Kenly, with speeding to elude arrest at about 6:50 a.m. Aug. 8 on Avent Ferry Road. He is accused of trying to elude police when an officer attempted to stop him due to suspicion of driving while impaired.
A resident of Olive Park Drive reported that unauthorized charges were made using their credit card at about 5:34 p.m. Aug. 6.
Multiple rent checks were written and given to a resident of Bells Walk Court with the knowledge that the account was overdrawn. The incident was reported at about 12 p.m. July 30.
A resident of Starkland Way reported being the victim of identity theft at about 4:18 p.m. Aug. 9. When checking her credit report, the victim discovered that her social security number had been used by two individuals to open accounts.
