CLASSES

Greenwood Forest Baptist Church, 110 S.E. Maynard Road in Cary, will hold English as a second language class Sundays from 9:30-10:45 a.m. The free classes will be in the Conference Room across from the church office. Call 919-467-0481.

GATHERING

Christ the King Lutheran Church in Cary will hold a Glocal Mission Gathering on Jan. 27-28. The event will bring together an ecumenical, intergenerational group for worship, workshops and sharing around global and local missions. There will be food, music and fellowship. MEETINGS

Holly Springs United Methodist Church holds "There is a Solution" Alcoholics Anonymous group meetings 7-8 p.m. Tuesdays at 108 Avent Ferry Road.
