CATHOLIC CONFERENCE

The 10th annual Ignited By Truth Conference will be Friday-Saturday, Feb. 24-25, at the Jim Graham Building at the N.C. State Fairgrounds, 1025 Blue Ridge Road, Raleigh. A free workshop on the Catholic Church will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday, Feb. 24. Presentations by Catholic speakers from around the country will be from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25. CHURCH SUPPERS

The Knights of Columbus will hold their annual Charity Fish Fry every Friday, Feb. 24 through March 30, at St. Michael the Archangel Church, 804 High House Road, Cary. Lunch prices are $8 adults and $4 children, and will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dinner prices are $10 adults and $4 children, and will be served from 5 to 7 p.m. The Polka Plus Band will provide entertainment on March 23. CONSIGNMENT SALE

The Friendship Closet Children's Consignment Sale features gently used clothing, toys, and equipment for babies, children, and maternity. The sale will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, March 2 and 7 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, March 3, at Peak United Methodist Church, 1200 N. Salem St., Apex. Select merchandise will be marked down 50 percent on Saturday, March 3. Consignor drop-off will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, March 1 and 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday, March 2. Proceeds will benefit the mission outreach of the Friendship Circle of Apex United Methodist Church to support local women's and children's charitable organizations. WORKSHOP

Alice Parker, choral music conductor, arranger and composer, will hold a choral workshop for Triangle singers March 16-18 at Saint Francis United Methodist Church in Cary. A community sing will be at 7 p.m. March 16. A special workshop for conductors, choirs, singers, teachers, pianists and organists will be held on March 17, with a concert at 3 p.m. featuring Parker's works.
