BUSINESS DOINGS

Cary Cardiology will join Wake Specialty Physicians on May 1.

Cypress Manor, a special events venue, opened Jan. 1 at 1040 Buck Jones Road, Raleigh. The multi-level facility can accommodate 500 guests for cocktail events and more than 300 for sit-down dinners.

The Umstead Hotel and Spa in Cary will display "...who thought of the heart...," works by artist Jason Craighead, on sale through May 31. A gallery reception of Craighead's artwork will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 15, at 100 Woodland Pond Drive.
