Police identify man killed in Cary moped crash

Police on Saturday identified the man who died in a moped accident early Friday as Edward Joseph Krynicki, 30, of 107-A Northwoods Village Drive in Cary.

Krynicki’s moped was on East Durham Road when it ran into a cement support beneath a bridge that carries railroad tracks over the street between East Chatham Street and Chapel Hill Road . The accident happened about 4 a.m., police said.

No other vehicles were involved in the accident, according to police.
