Penn State culprits

The Penn State University situation as we all know has gotten a lot of bad publicity. I would hope that the NCAA sanction, if any, does not mean shutting down the football program. If so, it would be yet another case of “closing the gate after the horses have left the barnyard”! The present players and new staff weren’t around when the problem occurred and do not deserve to bear the brunt of any punishment. Those who need to be punished are the PSU executives (and they will be tried eventually) and the PSU Board of Directors!
