Tried and untrue
Gun bans dont work. How do we know? Because we tried it. For 10 years we tried.
The weapons used at Virginia Tech and Columbine were not on the list of proposed bans. Columbine happened during the ban.
The chance of being killed in a random shooting is about 1 in 340,000. Chances of dying in a car wreck: 1 in 110.
So lets really save lives and lower the speed limit to 30 mph, or are we all about applied ethics? Can the government really lower a risk that is practically nonexistent? No.
