Electronics Recycling Event
Apex resident Jeffrey Sandhofer, the town of Apex and the Kramden Institute will hold an electronics recycling event from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Apex Public Works facility, 105 Upchurch St. Kramden Institute will collect donated computers to donate to economically disadvantaged students. Synergy Recycling will also dispose of any computer parts that cannot be used, along with a variety of other electronics items. No refrigerators, washers, dryers or CFL bulbs will be accepted.
Valentine Vendor Fair Fundraiser
A Valentine shopping spree and vendor fair to support Cat Angels Pet Adoptions, Inc. of Cary will be from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Perkins Restaurant and Bakery, U.S. 64, Apex. There will be several vendors and raffle items. For details, visit www.catangelsnc.org.

Mardi Gras Gala
The board of directors of the Morrisville Community Fund will host a Mardi Gras Gala at 7 p.m. at Perimeter Studio and Conference Center, 1100 Perimeter Park Drive, Morrisville. There will be live music from the Rhonda Robichaux Band, a silent auction and food from local restaurants. Tickets are $35. Proceeds will go to the Morrisville Community Fund, which supports nonprofit organizations serving Morrisville residents through an annual grant process.
