SWAC girls’ tennis championship

at Cary Tennis Center

Yes, the girls’ tennis championship is still going on after rain interrupted play Wednesday and Thursday and rain was in the forecast for Friday. Panther Creek’s Megan Smith and Holly Springs’ Bailey Edwards are playing for the singles tennis title. Cary’s Jamie Rogers and Hannah Jabusch will take on Panther Creek’s defending 4A state champion doubles team of Sammi Smith and Jordan Strickland.

Game time: 3 p.m. Monday, Oct. 14.
