From staff reportsNovember 22, 2013

Fuquay-Varina police said Thursday that they are looking for a robber who wore a jacket like this one, with the “Iron Man” comic-book character on it.

— Police are looking for leads that may help them track down an “Iron Man” robber and an accomplice who held up a Subway restaurant.

Investigators distributed pictures Thursday of a jacket that has a design with the Iron Man character from Marvel Comics.

The other man wore a ski mask, police said.

The two forced their way into the back door of the Subway on Fayetteville Road about 8:40 p.m. last Sunday, made an employee open the cash register and took about $500, the announcement said.

Police said the thieves were black, but have no information about their builds or other clothing they wore that night.
