‘The Odd Couple’

The Cary Players will present “The Odd Couple,” in two versions with male and female casts, at the Cary Arts Center, 101 Dry Ave. Here’s the schedule:

• 7: 30 p.m. Thursday, April 10.

• 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 11.

• 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 12.

• 3 p.m. Sunday, April 13.

Celebration of the Arts Festival

The 11th annual Celebration of the Arts Festival will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 7, in downtown Fuquay-Varina. The Fuquay-Varina Downtown Association will accept applications for people selling art and crafts through Friday, April 11, at www.fuquay-varinadowntown.com. JazzLive concert

Jazz pianist Lenore Raphael and trumpeter Dr. David Champouillon will perform in The Halle Cultural Arts Center’s JazzLive series at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 12, at 237 N. Salem St., Apex. Tickets cost $15 for adults, $12 for ages 16 and younger at www.etix.com.

Cary Photographic Artists

The Cary Photographic Artists will meet with Jonathan Fredin, chief photographer of Cary Magazine, at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 17, at the Cary Arts Center, 101 Dry Ave. For details, go to www.caryphotographicartists.org.

Small Treasures Juried Exhibit

The sixth annual Small Treasures Juried Exhibit of the Cary Gallery of Artists will be open through April 19 at 200 S. Academy St. For details, go to www.carygalleryofartists.org.

Paint the Town

Artists will paint scenes from Cary’s landscape, history and culture in natural light outdoors from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, May 3, downtown. Participation costs $25. To register by Friday, April 18, call 919-460-4972 or go to www.townofcary.org.

Artwork will be displayed by local businesses from Tuesday, May 6, through Tuesday, May 27. Art will be sold in an auction on May 30 at the Cary Arts Center to raise money for Relief for Recreation, a scholarship fund for Cary residents to take part in recreation, sports, arts and cultural programs.

‘The Little Prince’

Raleigh Little Theatre’s Players to Go! will present “The Little Prince,” performed by students, at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 19, at Eva Perry Regional Library, 2100 Shepherd’s Vineyard Drive, Apex. The show is free, but registration is required. To register, call 919-387-2100.

Juried Art Exhibition

The Fine Arts League of Cary’s 19th Annual Juried Art Exhibition will be on display through Sunday, April 20, at the Page-Walker Arts and History Center, 119 Ambassador Loop, Cary. For details, call 919-460-4963.

Poetry open mic

The Turkish House will host an open mic night for poetry with tea at 7 p.m. Friday, April 25, at 303 E. Durham Road, suite F, Cary.

Thomas Pandolfi concert

Pianist Thomas Pandolfi will perform at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 26, at The Halle Cultural Arts Center, 237 N. Salem St., Apex. Tickets cost $15 for adults and $12 for students and seniors at www.etix.com.

Painting workshop

Donna Bland will lead a two-day studio landscape painting workshop from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, April 28, and Tuesday, April 29, at the Waverly Artists Group Studio and Gallery, 302 Colonades Way, suite 209, Cary. ‘The Three Little Pigs’

Opera Carolina will perform “The Three Little Pigs” for kids at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 3, at the Cary Arts Center, 101 Dry Ave. This is a rescheduled performance from Saturday, Feb. 22, and tickets from the canceled show will be accepted. Marvelous Music series

Diane Shuur will give the last performance of the third Marvelous Music season at 7 p.m. Friday, May 9, at the Cary Arts Center, 101 Dry Ave. Tickets are $26 for adults, $24 for seniors.

‘Twelfth Night’

The Cary Arts Center will host performances of Shakespeare’s “Twelfth Night” at 7:30 p.m. Friday, May 16, and Saturday, May 17, and at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 18, at 101 Dry Ave. Tickets will go on sale Monday, April 14. Tickets bought early cost $10 for adults, $8 for students and seniors and $5 for ages 5 and younger at the Cary Arts Center Box Office or www.etix.com. All tickets at the door cost $10.

‘Opera in the Pines’

The N.C. Opera Orchestra and featured singers will perform at 7 p.m. Saturday, May 17, at Koka Booth Amphitheatre, 8003 Regency Parkway, Cary. Tickets cost $25-$37, free for kids under 14, at www.boothamphitheatre.com.

Turkish tile exhibition

The Turkish House will host an exhibition of Turkish tile artwork at 7 p.m. Friday, May 30, at 303 E. Durham Road, suite F, Cary.
