Local kids go on the hunt for eggs

Kids had a lot of eggs to hunt over the weekend.

Cary hosted an Easter egg hunt for youngsters on Saturday at Fred G. Bond Metro Park. Apex, Holly Springs and Fuquay-Varina also had egg hunts on Saturday.

And the fun’s not over yet. Cary will host the third annual Easter Eggstravaganza egg hunt for kids with disabilities ages 12 and younger from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Fred G. Bond Metro Park on High House Road. Register at any Cary community center or at classweb.townofcary.org. Bring a basket. For more information, call 919-469-4100 or go to www.townofcary.org.

Morrisville will host an egg hunt for ages 2-10 from 9:30 a.m. to noon Friday at Morrisville Community Park on Morrisville Parkway. There will be food trucks, a bounce house, face painting and more kids’ activities. For details, go to www.ci.morrisville.nc.us.
