Cary resident earns Indiana University School of Nursing award

Dr. Brenda Cleary of Cary received one of Indiana University School of Nursing’s Alumni Legacy Leaders awards. The award was given to 100 of the school’s more than 30,000 living alumni as part of the school of nursing’s 100th anniversary celebration.

Holly Springs resident speaks at United Nations meetings

Shirley McClain of Holly Springs spoke at the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women meetings in March in New York. McClain spoke on the panel topic, “Rural Women and Millenium Development Goals: Women, Poverty and Economic Survival.”
