Overtime points

• Apex has named Isaac Bristol as its new girls basketball coach. Bristol has been a junior varsity assistant with the Apex boys basketball team and an assistant football coach for Apex and Panther Creek.

• At the end of the regular season, Green Hope has all but clinched the boys golf conference title. The Falcons lead runner-up Panther Creek by 13 points entering Monday’s conference tournament. Green Hope should win its 12th straight conference title unless it finishes last and Panther Creek first.
