— A man and woman accused of shoplifting merchandise from a Fuquay-Varina Walmart store have also been charged with felony larceny from a Holly Springs Walmart.

Danny Allen Stanley Jr., 45, of Kernersville and Ashley Ann Davis, 27, of Archdale were being held on felony larceny charges filed by Fuquay-Varina police Thursday when they were served with arrest warrants from Holly Springs officers.

The Holly Springs warrants accuse both of taking$1,686.19 worth of merchandise that included four cases of beer, 23 razor cartridges, 14 bottles of body spray and nine boxes of energy drinks.

Stanley and Davis had court appearances Thursday on the Fuquay-Varina charges and were due in court again Friday on the Holly Springs allegations.

Fuquay-Varina officers had stopped a car with Stanley and Davis in it near the Walmart in that town shortly before 1 a.m. Thursday and found almost $2,100 worth of goods, arrest warrants said.

Fuquay-Varina police also accused Davis of possession of drug paraphernalia, saying in a warrant that they found a syringe with heroin residue.
